Applicant Documents for B1/B2 Visa

Make sure you have the following list of documents before getting started.

  1. Original Passport [Current and previous if applicable].
  2. Copy of Aadhaar card.
  3. Bank statements
  4. Pay Slips.
  5. Income Tax Returns or Form 16 A.
  6. Property documents (land / property)[if any].
  7. Leave Approval/ NOC for all employed persons.
  8. Retirement letter and pension related documents [If retired from Government job]
  9. For applicants from business background & self employed, business registration documents.
  10. Marriage Certificate if married & Child birth certificates if you have children.
  11. Copies of previous visas and travel stamps (if travelled previously)

need to be provided at a later point of time.

  1. Passport first, last and visa pages.
  2. Visa copy or American Passport copy (depending on the inviter’s circumstance).
  3. Financial statements with sufficient balance if sponsoring. 
  4. Employment proof and Pay slips.
  5. Rental Agreement or latest Utility Bill.
  6. W2 statement.
